lets see I have one scar on my left foot from beach football, ankle went down in an old turtle hole and got cut up on sea shells (16 stitches). One on my right foot, Mom ran it over it was the 80's and I thought I was macguyver 
(9 stitches). Got hit by a ricochet bullet when I was in the army in my left forearm(no stitches). 3 weeks after that hit in the head with a bottle at a protest in sarajevo (12 stitches(wore my helmet after that)).
and I'm sure i'll have many more to come.

i'm just waiting for Danomite to chime in on this topic. anyone remember the pics he posted a few weeks ago?
as for me, i've never had surgery or stitches. worst injury i've ever had was spraining my finger playing basketball. i was in 6th grade, and thought it was really cool getting an xray of my middle finger.

my dad said he shot a nail through his thumb...so what does he do? He gets some pliers, and pulls it out. "who needs a doctor? I've got tools."
He also removed his last stitches with a pocket knife, which of course caused it to take a lot longer to heal. (he slides a lot in softball, comes home after every game bleeding...last one he must have hit a rock or something)
