Its always easy to blame corporations for it all, but follow the sub prime mess back to its roots, it goes back all the way to the Clinton administration, with every American should be able to own their home/affordable housing mantra, a nice ideal, but clearly a large portion of your population does not make enough or is not responsible enough to do so. Those laws passed from that era, were like ticking time bombs for this administration.

 

While I agree that Clinton certainly had a hand in the current fiasco I think it's a misunderstanding of the situation to lay blame on solely on the "mortgage crisis".
