Opera has the banner, I knew there was something I disliked LOL.

Other than that it is great, I don't think too many people are springing $39.00 for a web browser are they?

LOL, i am pretty much all linux at this point. Mostly 7.3 with KDE 3, but Mandrake comes with KDE 3 and it has internet connection sharing (DHCP) tool that is pretty slick.

No they usually start with "I'm Bill and I bought some kool-aid for you all to drink. Make sure you have some before you go"
heheh, there was a woman that would come to our installfests and bring hommade cookies and other snacks every month for everyone. That was cool

under redhat 7.3 as root, type the following:

cd /sbin

./sndconfig

that will launch an autodetect for sound, if it is not in there, then type locate sndconfig, and look around a bit for it, you have to run it as root, but oyu can log in as a normal user, start x then open a terminal window and type su to get superuser access

I don't know a direct answer for you... it usually depends on the hardware you have... but... Mandrake is based on RedHat.. what SoniX said may do the trick for you
