no issues for me workin on the suspension and brakes on the floor level if needed to kev...

but im pickin one up with a rolling jack that will allow me to do all that with a four post...

main reason for the lift was for space... closest thing to a four car garage for me at this point

yea but then you're working on the floor when you have a lift.

the rolling jack is the one that slides on the rails of the 4 post right? those are a pain in the *** too, talk about cracking your skull open. also you cant lower the car all the way to the ground with it lifted by those, and you normally have to lift by the control arms so suspension jobs are a chore. and they raise the car too slowly for me

a two post would save you even more space and you could still park under the car while its in the air.... walking around a massive 4 post is very annoying, i hate going on that side of our shop.

BTW not arguing with you, just giving you insight of someone who deals with a variety of lifts million times a day.

yeah four post maybe a bit more work but its easier on the wallet at this point...

the concrete slab ive got now isnt thick nor strong enough for anchors on the two posts..

im also hearin possible township regulations this may stir up... the cost and hassles alone is what led me to the four post...

need a free standing one enough to provide me with the space.. and the ability to work off my back.. not to mention im not lookin to set up shop...

as much as id like to..

if you dont need the parking and dont have a whole lot of money or room you can get one of those portable lifts that slide under the car, town cant bust your ***** for permits and variances.

Usually they frown upon lifts in private houses
