..lift in garage
#1
contractors just finished my deck in the backyard..
decided to have them cut down the overhead storage area in my garage while they were here..
need the room for the lift... get the floor done.. extend the opener higher and install the lift..
heres a before pic six years ago..

...did you have any lift installer come check your garage for proper clearance and positioning?
the pic may not show it but she has over two feet of clearance on each side of the cym in the pic...
the height is roughly nineteen feet with length slightly over twenty feet..
which is plenty clearance even with the motor and accessories in place..
just got a ridiculous qoute for coating my flooring... gonna look into floor decking next..

four post? like an alignment rack, 2 ramps to drive up? arent your cars lowered? we couldnt get an is300, at stock height, with a bumper lip onto our rack. plus those things are no fun to work under unless you have armored elbows...or youre only gonna use it to change oil.
2 posts rock, i dont even enjoy doing brakes on the four post ill go out of my way to put the car on the regular lift.
but knowing you im sure you planned it out meticulously lol. i'm still measuring out stuff for my new garage 24'x24'x28' (i believe it is 28' tall, i know its the maximum height allowed in my town and i thinks thats around 28')

no issues for me workin on the suspension and brakes on the floor level if needed to kev...
but im pickin one up with a rolling jack that will allow me to do all that with a four post...
very little setup necessary rob.. not anymore than a two post
as far as the clearance on the lowered fd... they provide low profile ramps and runways..
main reason for the lift was for space... closest thing to a four car garage for me at this point
