EERRR sorry Hans wrong guess, you want to go for double jeopardy where the scores can really change? Citizens should be thanking the NRA for holding the playing field level against radical politicians and the like who want to ban gun ownership. It is a constititional right and at this point there is no way to abolish that right without suffereing an incredible upheaval.

Video games promote violence? Hrm, funny... I've played videogames nearly all my life (DOOM came out when I was 8, played it with my Dad, played Wolf3d before that) and I've yet to even consider committing a violent crime.

And yet, the vast majority of hardcore gamers I know are the least violent people that I know as well...

I play violent video games, I'm fine. I will not go out and murder someone. I also played wolfenstein 3d when i was a kid. I also watched dozens of documentaries on WWI, WWII, vietnam, korea, ect.

Believe what you wish about the NRA but i believe any way to promote something is to hold rallies and be in a club about it. A nationwide club about owning, operating and carrying guns obviously PROMOTES gun use! They say "Be American, know your rights, carry a gun...its in the constitution!"

Yeah it has NOTING to do with gun crimes.

Completely indirectly of course. The NRA doesnt TELL people to go out and murder. But they promote gun holding. And the only way you can kill someone with a gun is by...

HAVING ONE!

Well it's a shame we didn't have any sort of anti-NRA back in the 1700's. Maybe then we could still be payingour taxes to England. And guess what, people have been murdered since the beginning of human existence, guns aren't telling people to murder. Maybe we should outlaw kitchen knives, meat cleaver, baseball bats, golf clubs, rope, and cement as well.

Like i care if you pay taxes to england. We were part of the english empire until the 70's. And up until then we took part in the most bloodiest battles on the face of the earth and wooped *** as canadians. Think of our neutrality as an extended vacation.

Anyway one good point is that even with our laws against guns, out of 10 million families in canada, there are 7 million guns. For hunting. Or for sport. It's part of our culture. No NRA. Theres no promotion for protection against your neighbour. Theres no need. During the day, keep your doors unlocked, nothings gonna happen.

The only thing that protects us from our neighbours is a lack of fear of our neighbour and just good old fashion getting along.

its mostly the same way in smaller towns in the US

its the metropolitan areas here that have problems with violence and that is because nobody knows eachother.

no one knows how to respond to a situation becuase they dont know the person.

excessive greed doesnt help the problem any either

I definately agree there. Metropolitan U.S.A needs to learn alot from Littletown U.S.A.
