Well you guys definately have me interested in Tulsa. Plus the LSAC shows i have a 95% chance of acceptance. So i'm definately applying there this week.

What about emissions laws? Weather? Interested in the housing/apartment scene. I like that idea of 850$ a month for such a big condo.

Speechless, this statement leaves me puzzled, suprised, dissappointed and impressed all at once.

Emissions?!!!! Buahahahaah. We don't have emisssions, or any kind of inspections for that matter.

Weather is very comparable to NC where I lived at the beach, slightly less humid, though I'd say the winters are more like the Raliegh Duram area where you will get snow a couple times and slightly cooler. 90's during the summer with the occasional 110 heat index, to 30's in the winter with the occasional -20 chill index, lol.

Tons of apartments and houses for rent. You have a lot of options there really, anywhere from dirt cheap in the few ghetto areas of town, to very pricey in the rich areas. I really nice 2 bedroom apartment with all the hookups/pool/gated/covered parking, ect... would be around 650 on the average.

Before I moved to Oklahoma I was expecting fields that went on forever without a tree in sight. But this part of the state is hilly and very green. Lots of trees and landscape.

EDIT: maybe lacking on the woman compared to the beach area where I lived. But ORU has some hotties and so does Stillwater.

Women don't really interest me because I have LeAnn.. lol.. but its nice to know there is some nice scenery. But, I won't know where I'm going until probably March/April. SO, please keep the stats/info coming. Tulsa is high in the runnings now.. and since no emissions ... i can bring the 7 along.

sweet7 11-11-2005 10:12 PM

Where Im from in CO is the only county to not have emission laws. Although I heard they were trying to drop the emissions standards in a few more counties too.

Also, insurance may be more here than what you pay in Fla. You're probably not 25 yet, and not married, so that doesn't help. However if you have another car I suggest you put the FD on "special use" insurance. I wanna say I only pay around $600 a year now for full coverage, compared to the $1200 (it might of been more can't remember) it was gona be. David may be moving out around that time and his condo would be available too. Get a roommate and live like a king, lol.
