I'm in my mid 20's and just started college full time at Oregon State, and man, it is different from the working world. So many kids . . all just children . . . and the chicks - there are just so many of them. At least when walking around campus; when I get to the engineering type courses (ME101 and CH201) they vanish. I think I'm going to fit in with the engineering clique. Sure, we're a bunch of geeks but we love blowing stuff up. It looks like engineering is going to take some serious work but I'm down for it.

So anyhow, all you engineering students chime in. Where are you attending and how's everything going?

I just finished a 5 year stint at hopkins for mechanical engineering. I haven't found a job yet but i am probably going back in the spring to finish my civil degree. I'm only 22 but i feels really good to be almost done. By the way, there are chics at hopkins, its just that they are all busted.

I'm a freshman CS major at Georgia Tech right now, CS1321 sucks *** because we're programming in Scheme, but I think once I get through the course I'll be fine.

spent 2 years on my aas in mech eng and got sidetracked by motorsports.

The first 2 years in my school was spent in a elaborate machine shop with tons of CNC stuff....the next 2 years is all theory, which i dont have the attention span for

Just started at Milwaukee School of Engineering. Me be a meachanical engineer. The people here rock, but the school itself is pretty much devoid of girls.

I'm almost done myself. I have been in college since the fall of 97.... I feel old compared to most of the other people in my engineering classes but at least I don't have to worry about a job when I get out. Not too much of a market where I live for engineers lately anyway.

I'm here at Texas A&M University studying mechanical engineering. I'm a 5th year senior, 22, and ready to be done with school. I'm working on my senior design project, one of the coolest projects ever. were designing a Formula car for the SAE competition and in the spring we will build it and race it in detroit. We should be in november's issue of Road and Track for our performance last year.

I'm on the suspension team and were in charge of designing the suspension, brake, and steering systems.

oh yeah, TAMU HAS SOME OF THE HOTTEST CHICKS AROUND! well, not in engineering at least, but over in the education and business parts of campus, dang, they are hot. it even smells like chicks in those areas of campus.

I'm gearing up to do engineering, at least I think that's what I'm doing. High school drop out so I never did take Algebra and what not so I'm working my way up. Trig, Pre Calc, Calc and THEN the fun starts.

Acutally I'll probably take Engee-near-ing 101 next semester. It's Fortran programming for the first class, so how hard could it possibly be?
