Call your credit card company and tell them the story and reverse the charge. The credit car company isd on your side. It will be on the Movers to PROVE that they are entitled to the charge. You said they never showed up and never called. You have every right to cancel.

 

Thats the problem, I work too much so I don't know anyone down here that I could get to help, and I cant carry that furniture down 3 flights of stairs alone.

 

Yeah. There have been quite a few shows about this sort of stuff on 60 Minutes, Dateline and the like. No way in hell would I use that company. Finding another company might set you back another day but having the three stooges hold your property for ransom would most likely set you back a lot longer than that.

Mover #2 screwed us with trying to jack the rate up after they got there. tomorrow morning at 7AM We'll find out about mover #3 (which is a local mover)
