venom-what drum set did you have? i have a pearl export series select right now. it is 6 piece(currently). and cymbals everywhere. I would NEVER sell my drum set. thought of it, but could never go through with it. I am almost 5 grand deep into my drums alone.

You know I'm into music, play in 2 bands, take voice lessons, my sister's husband was in a succesfull (locally) Ska band (Met and played for bands like Mighty Mighty Bosstones and such), and basically that music is my first passion...yet you didn't ask me?!?!?

Matter-of-Factly...My sister's husband went to Suny Purchase for Music recording and got his degree, his parents house's basement (and soon his own basement at his home with my sis) is dedicated to Recording....soundproof walls, 3-4 Imac computers, thousands of $ in recording equipment and even a studio drum set, amp, guitars, etc.

He'd be the best to talk to about it...but might I add, he's now working full time in computers despite his degree...

It's almost like anything else artistic, you just gotta be good and know the right people.

K well Andy (My Brother in Law) had a regular Ska band, plus my "2nd" band is regular rock. He played at many, many venue's. He knows more people in the music industry than you've got...guitars...and crap.....

My father also laid carpet for 2 recording studio owners in NYC.

Watch it bub. [/wolverine voice]

LOL True. But shunning someone who has many contacts just cause they're into a different style of music isn't a good thing either NoPenis93.

Ashlee Simpson is a great example of what you've said boxrs4sale.,

My father quit the "Yea, you want to make it big? So does everyone else!" speech anymore, sometimes if we're both watching TV and I put on MTV/MTV2 he sees some of the alternative garbage that's on and is like "Wow, yea, you guys sound 10x better than this junk..." :P

i had a custom made set of yamaha's. they are called the crystal series, but you can't just buy them anywhere.....

i had about 6k in mine... i bought them used from a guy that had more money than brains, and never learned to play them.

the drum bodies were clear, and all hardware was chrome. I added a yamaha double bass pedal with double spring set and some cymbals.

i had snare, bass, 7 cymbals, 6 toms. It was a great set..... wish I still had it.

Why have you 3 of the same guitar? Not that I would be complaining with that setup.
