so wait, u r gonna trade the fd for a paid off wrx and some cash too. if the wrxc is paid off, id do it! my reasoning would be you get a paid off car plus cash. how much do the wrxs' run for again. if its a little more value than the fd, sell the wrx, use the cash earned from the sale and the 3500 to build another car

the regular 2JZ motor doesn't handle high boost to well at all. are you planning on rebuilding it? the TT Supra had the 2JZ-GTE engine...basically an entirly different bottom end. there are 2 local guys that went N/A to boost, and they had to completly rebuild their motors.

maybe i should try and read an entire post before i get preachy well good luck man glad to hear you'll stick around.
YEah I have heard the same thing. My friend also wanted to do the conversion and the cars are very different from each other. Alot cheaper just to get the TT. And less of a head ache. Good Luck though Benny!!

that is correct sir. the WRX im getting is paid in full. Im paying 3500 and giving my car for the wrx. Good deal to me. If i end up not liking it.. i can just sell it and make a decent profit (im a car salesman by blood!) hehe. And vic.. dude.. if you would meet up with me ill let you drive it.. just hurry the hell up!!!!!

actually, the only difference in an 2JZ-GE and a 2JZ-GTE is the head, intake manifold and pistons. Adding a thicker head gasket to the GE will lower the compression to more turbo friendly #'s ive done alot of research on it.. But yeah.. no supra right now anyhow.. i VOW to have a supra AND an fd within 3 years...
