They tried Iron Chef USA with Billy-boy about a year or so ago and it failed miserably. I guess second time is a charm.
It was the worst show ever. So much hype, more than the Japanese version. It was awful.

either that or the american way of thinking of trying to out do everyone and everything and it turned the show to caca.

Iron chefs, the iron chefs stay the same.
They bring in some asswipes to taste the food and they give them
scores. Its translated to english so the voices almost sound
like the same guy trying to make different ones, lol.
there is one guy who looks like Col. Sanders from KFC: "this knife, it really accenuates the wound, this is very Japenese"
and the stupid japenese actress "ohhhhhhh, I like this alot"
