I think this war is going to be the worst one, especially as far as it hitting us home. Those suicide bombers just don't give a ****, we really have to have a heightened awareness. I will support our country, but I just don't want to see our people dying. The 9-11 was just to tragic, but when I think of it I get so ******* pissed off I want to go aND FIGHT and see there blood spreaded everywhere. Just my angry and confused opinion.
Honestly, the whole prospect bothers me.
I understand, sometimes there isn't another solution
available. I still like to live in a place where we can actually
work through everything, as apposed to just running in guns blazing.
I don't want anyone to go there under hostile conditions.
But, if you HAVE to go. . . Good luck and Godspeed!
I wish things were different, but I guess sometimes
change requires action?

I was in Bosnia for a year. Never seen a more beautiful country in my life. Destroyed by hatred (well, and religion). I wanted to stay there. Hope that never happens to America.
I'm from Bosnia. We backtracked with nothing but the clothes on our backs for 4 straight days through serbian occupied territories, untill we finally came to a Bosnian held city. I was 10 years old, only 10. I saw **** that makes me want explode. Those ******* killed our women and childern and now THEY have nothing to eat and drink, look what it got them. I moved to Germany, than the US. I went to Bosnia 2 years ago, for the first time in almost 10 years. The first thing I did when I saw my school and other playgrounds, and the people, was CRY. I couldn't stop.

My dad is a retired officer from the Marine Corps and he got called a while back to see if he would be willing to go in case they needed him to. He of course said yes and is looking forward to it. So if they are calling up the reserves than I bet he had better start realizing that he may actually be going soon. I hope it is resolved swiftly and decisevly just like last time. But this time we need to actually get rid of Sadahm and his 2 fucked up sons. I wish everyone the best of luck in this endeavor. One of my best friends is in the Marines and he just got orders to Oki, I wonder if that has anything to do with Korea?

After spending a year in the not so wonderful 3rd world of korea I can tell you if and when that one goes down it will be messy. I have lots of friends in the deserts and lots more on thier way. I asked to go twice before and I've offered again.
We will prevail and GOD SPEED to all of my military brothers!

How do you guys feel about this? I already got called back into the military to fight the "war" on terrorism... so I really don't know.. I know we are heading for a war.... And it could very well be a big one. I wish I could actually talk more about what I know... But you know how that goes..
I love my country and I support my president. I just hope we ******* do it right this time..

When they see us coming a lot of them will throw up white flags and ask to be fed. Then as word gets out, more of them will start doing it. Let's face it, this guy is a cruel dictator who is very good at deception. Anytime there is a public rally for him 90% fo them are probably forced at gunpoint to be a part of it. If you were an Iraqi scientist with a wife, couple of kids, brothers, sisters, etc would you leave the country to nark on him? NO WAY!
Go kick some ***, then get back here to your 7 (so you can get some ***)...
And thanks for defending our country and our freedoms.

I was there after the very end of the war. A few little gun battles here and there... People had just started to come out again. I shot a bunch video of all the **** in Sarajevo. The newspaper building... The mortar holes in everything... All the burned up cars that lined the streets.. The stray dogs.. The ******* jetliner parked in a field 2 miles from the Sarajevo airport (noone could explain that one..). It was a mess.
I saw the city begin to come back to life and it brings me down everytime I think about it. I met so many sweet people there... I wanted to bring them all here. I went to the gym on camp Ilidza (headquarters SFOR) where a Serbian and a Bosnian worked together...when 5 months before that they would have killed eachother.
I went to Mostar. Hands down the most peaceful landscape I have ever seen. The mountains are breathtaking.
Jajhorina (sp?) was amazing. Thats the mountain that the 84 Olympics were on... Well, at least the skiing. I went there to ski 4 times.
It just breaks my heart that such a wonderful place went down like that. I hope some day when you go back it's back to the way it should be. I hope I can return to see the same thing.
