Well it's a ******* ridiculous price to pay for a little birdie (anemometer) transducer, but ****** a I must admit the packaging makes me feel like I really got my money's worth (yea right)

It's an anemometer or in this case half of it, this is the transducer or sensor end, it outputs windspeed and direction (among other data) relative to your heading and puts it on an LCD screen for my convenience.
