I'm in Video Game heaven

thanks for postin gthe pics man... looks good! :bigthumg:
when I build mine I think I'm going to do it sort of like that... a sort of sitting level verses standing... I'm going to use joysitck set like the one x-gaming has and build a recess for it... I want to use it kind of like a game station for other games too... I have one of those sweet Logitech Momo leather wrapped steering wheels and pedals, want to build the console so I can attach the wheel easily or possibly switch in a nice flight joystick and pedals... a car seat comes to mind also... but that could possibly ruin two player arcade action unless it is modular or something...
anyway... back to my point... that's friggin' cool man... it's making me want to actually start mine...

Well you can build the cabinet from scratch, or do what I did, search the net for people giving old ones away.
Here are links with info on the harware/software part of the project:
http://www.arcadecontrols.com/arcade.htm
http://home.earthlink.net/~seanhat/arcade/arcade.html
http://www.geocities.com/mamehelp/
http://www.mameworld.net/
http://www.russprince.com/cabinet/
Now once you have all that figured out. here is where you but the sticks and buttons.
http://www.happcontrols.com/
And this is the site to buy all the proper interfaces to get all those buttons to work with windows
http://www.ultimarc.com
Any Questions just ask away.
One of the hardest parts of the project is finding working roms.
I have 3247 working games stored on 10 Cd's. So if you get that far, or you just want to play on your regular PC let me know

and damn! I was pretty proud of 500 or so (they are mostly choice games though)... I may have to make it to your neck of the woods one of these days...
