******* alarm went off on it witch i didnt even know i had. Couldnt find a switch to turn it off trying to get a pair of pliers to take the battery terminals of things wouldnt come off. i finally started ripping fuses until i found the right one. Got in a fight with my brother( the neighbors stopped it) since i didnt have tools i called my grandparents and was having them come over to bring me a wrench there still on there way. damnt what a great ******* night and all this happened becuase i was locking the doors on the car before i left with my brother.

 

to disable the stock alarm. unlock the drivers door with your key

 

just lock the door again. when my alarm used to do that do me. id turn the key one more time and it would stop. i got tired of disconnecting the battery terminal so i tried something else and it worked

 

i wish i would of kown that earlier

 

did it work? i used to love to kick my car when it wouldnt start or started acting up on me. i feel sorry for the guy who bought it

 

no i already had it off hen i posted this i pulled fuses. next time if there is a next time ill try the lock thing.

 

yea. same thing with my GXL. just turn the key and it will shut off...=)

Oh man that is a classic! The alarm goes off and somehow that is connected with a fight, and some tool to disconnect the battery, meanwhile you didn't think to mention to unlock the the door with the key, I love it!



You know if you had of kept up on topics around here you would have seen several posts regarding activation and de-activation.... J/K
