I just bought a 42" Sony Grand Wega Lcd/projection TV and I love it, not to big and only weighs 60lbs.

there must be a big downside to using a projector bc you can get one for 1500 to 2000 and have a bigger screen than any tv in that price range.

Your talking bout a rear projection but they aren't slim like a plasma or LCD. Plasma will outlast a tube TV.

Yeah you can't use them during the day. At that price they would have a fairly low res so wouldn't be able to go too big without sacrificing picture quality.

Prove it!!

I have had my Plasma for 2 years now and we watch it all the time sometimes falling asleep on the couch with it on all night.

I have mine mounted on the wall, I needed as much space in this room as possible so I really wanted a wall mount.

I had my father in law (owns a cabinate shop) make me a box for the wall to keep the A/V gear in/on and bam! I have a killer setup in my living room.
