take powdered miracle grow, and write in his yard "I -heart- ****" in big letters, then water it!
That way those letters will grow greener than the rest of his yard, and the more he tries to get rid of it, the worse it gets

substitute the miracle grow with bleach and see results in as little as 2-3 days
