Bank One, been with them for 4 years and two accounts (C and S) never had a problem.

actually, by federal law, you can no longer put stop payments on cashier's checks anymore, if i am not mistaken, because its considered a negotiable instrument these days.

I was wondering about that myself. Otherwise a cashiers check would be no safer than a personal check, unless of course it was counterfit to begin with.
