You could just get liability insurance on it, no full coverage. A good thing to do to it would be to track down a 3.43 rear and swap that in for starters. I had a 3"exaust and I had the Edelbrock headers on mine, they are some quality headers, I had the air tubes cut and welded over though. They do sound nice with a Flowmaster muffler on it.

just cuz you drive an american car your not a redneck... ive always wanted a camaro... i still do. nothing sounds better than a smallblock chevy with an exhaust jut sitting and idling. yeah a rx-7 sonds great at 8k rpm's but you got to work for that sound lol... v8's got it right at idle.. you can scare away civics without touching the gas

Versus all those FCs with the peeling paint I guess.
Or the FDs on thier 2nd motor or the 1st motor and a prayer!
By the way I have never seen a late 80s camaro or any year camaro actually that had the original paint peeling, unlike the ton of factory recalled FCs with thier peeling paint.

I had a blast with my Trans Am, they are a bit underpowered with a 305, but you can swap in a good small block one day for endless horsepower,
