you can tow with a old caddy, my friend did it for years. Station wagon, anything is good, you dont need a truck for towing, and you dont need fuel injection which has computer parts and engine controls that can go bad. Very little to go bad with a carb set-up. Maybe a ignition module, thats about it, keep a spare one in your glove box and your good to go. Dont let the age of the truck scare you.... but anyhow- this is so Vosko of you.

Those are nice! Honestly I'd go for a different truck though. I drove one of those and it was floaty and big even for an SUV.

you want a truck like that, **** dont we all, lol

That truck will give you a bit more comfort, but as far as gas mileage,

it will probably be about the same as your truck now, **** my Jeep gets

about 11-14 mpg, and my cousins brand new durango RT gets 11, my other cousins suberban gets about 10, so I dont feel so bad with my old *******, lol

Dont forget the key with these old simple trucks- CHEAP to insure because no full coverage, and cheap to fix because they are so simple. You can tow a car with just about any full size older car with a V-8 and some fresh rear springs or maybe even some air bags, add simple electric brakes or even a trailer with surge brakes and you will tow as good as the other guys.

If you want something just for towing, stick with your *******, if you want a daily driver and another payment, buy something like that truck, those mid 90's chevy trucks can get expensive to own once after a while. I would tow with your truck and see how it goes for you because driving a truck everyday gets old no matter how nice the truck is.
