i was looking thru my pool table last night. right before the 'return window', the ***** hit a slate, then there are two rails, a short one and a taller one (height-wise). the cue ball rolls down the short rail and returns to the back of the table, and the rest of the ***** roll down the taller rail, to the window, then down to the rack-end.
