I was poking around RX7club looking at the Rotary Revolution section and discovered that a ruling has been made to allow V-8 swapped RX-7's into the Rotary Revolution.



So I ask this simple question:



I know there is a member over on Team that has a LS-1 swap and is planning on a 150 shot of NOS. He should have about 500-600HP.



oh yeah the question:



What happens when a v-8 powered RX-7 wins the 1/4 mile competition?

 

Noone goes to V-8 RX7 fest anymore?

 

A lynch mob and gang raping?

Boycott the revolution to let them know we are dissatisfied with the enclusion of BASTARDIZED RX-7's?

The thought has crossed my mind to back out. I need to mail my payment today and now I sit here podering this.



I am just glad I am heading up to throw the smackdown in Autocross and not 1/4 mile or else I would be super pissed.



I thought they were doing a Rotary Challange, wouldn't that be a better venue for the V-8 swappers?

 

I was gonna do this to GET AWAY from the guys that do this. Most have a hatred for the rotary and its more annoying than anything.

 

You mark my words an LS-1 Pwered RX-7 will win the 1/4 mile.

MichRX-7 just informed that V-8 powered cars are not allowed in the final run offs for 1/4 mile.
