I'm not really sure.. If I get the motor (Streetport, 3mm built by steve kan) I'll install it and sell like that.. Maybe 16K? I'd like more, but don't like to haggle!

As it sits I'd hate to see less than 11-12K But, I know you can get them cheaper.. just not as clean as mine, nor with all the bells and whistles..

If you have any ideas I'm open ears!

Really sorry to hear of the situation.

Define emergency? Is it something a credit card can take care of while you get back on your feet?

yer gonna have to wait until you get the motor dude, no way around it otherwise you take it in the ***. I honestly feel a house is not worth owning if it straps you to the point you lay awake in bed at night.

$200 isnt all that bad considering the services you get. Did you put 175k cash in the house or do you just have a mortgage for 175k? If you've got that kind of equity I would consider a home equity line of credit, get you through the ****, then when you get the car together sell it and pay off the credit line or for that matter use the promotion money.

Shitty deal man, life is that way, you'll always get kicked around when your up or down, it just hurts more when your down.

Emergency might be a bad word.. I just like having some cash aside.. I put my last savings into the shop and now I have nothing..

A CC could work, but I have a few of those already.

We'll see how it all goes I guess..

Yeah.. It wouldn't have been so bad with the 2 of us paying bills, but now I'm solo. I didn't put anything down on the house.. Used the VA and took a 175K mortgage..

I can cover everything - but I'm skimming by.. I guess time will tell.

Being down sure does suck! Nothing beer and percocet can't fix!!!

If you've got a good job, you'll be okay. Just tighten the belt a bit. Drink Milwaukee's Beast for a while instead of the pricey stuff.

And keep the car. You've lost enough already.

Good luck to you!
