Did a 12 hour smoke on a 12 ib pork butt today...mmm mmm good. No datalog; had to change the IP on the Cummins

hmm, haven't seen one of those yet. What failed on it? Plunger/barrel tolerance?

Ahh. While it's pricey for a single plunger, coatings make a world of difference, in performance and wear characteristics. But getting the tolerances between the two afterwards is difficult if you don't have the tools and a larger supply.
