anyone else think that this would be the best car ever....2400 lb m coupe with a 13G engine



i know i do

 

tripod always screws up it links nice 3rotor though.....in that car that would be a nasty combo.

i think that the 4 cylinder motor that is in it is fine with that car, it would be total and utter blasphemy to out a 13b in anything other than an rx7

 

I seriously contemplated the 13b/miata thing, then learned that it wasn't so easy...need to raise the tranny tunnel, or custom fab a thinner oil pan so the engine won't bottom out, in addition to mounts and all that jazz



output shaft for rotary is higher than on the piston motor, because it's in the middle of the engine, as opposed to the bottom of the engine...or some **** like that

 

why wouldnt you be allowed to put rotary in any other car



some of the best dragsters have been rotary in starlets and **** like that



why not combine one of the best handling cars (miata) with an engine that has equal power throughout its whole power band that is super strong NA



you do that and you get the best autox car in the world man
