Ok today I officially state it I hate Verizon. Last week I signed the lease for my new apartment and went to get DSL and phone. WEll I call last wednesday and get everything hooked up just fine or so I think. Tuesday this week comes.... Phone gets hooked up but low and behold it's friday and no DSL modem yet. SO I call after an hour of being on hold and transfered around like 5 times I get my answer. I GET NO DSL..... all circuits are being used. Now why wasn't I told that earlier? IT's just gay and unfortunately in my area they are the only broadband provider so I'm screwed. Gotta stick with dial up for now. Sorry for bitching I'm just pissed off right now.

 

I hate them also.. i have a cell phone through them and some how they keep charging me like 50+ a month, and i hardly use teh ****** and thats only when its working! I want out of my contract!!

 

My friend had a problem similar to that.. They even called him offering it.. so when he finally decided to get it they infomed him that it wasn't offered in his area.. WTF? He was super mad.. Could that be considered a form of False advertising?

 

yeah well i went off on em on the phone saying it's horseshit that they tell me it's all good and here I am over a week later and it's no where near good. Needless to say I was pissed and then got yelled at by my boss for the stream of obscenities I used while on the phone at work. So lessons learned...... Verizon sucks avoid them at all costs, and 2 be careful what you say at work haha

 

That fuggin sucks. Most of the the company's aren't expanding their network at all right now, there was a time when they would have said you gotta wait a week for us to upgrade the system, but now they just tell you are SOL.



Can you get on a waiting list or anything?

 

nope they told me I'd have to call them back in like february when they stop giving connections away for free. I basically said I will never call back and as soon as I can ATT will get all my business phone, internet and TV that shut him up and he started saying something else and I just hung up. I'm gonna go blow up the local verizon building hehe

 

OOOOhhh I hate them too. I had a cell phone with them. I canceled them like a year ago and they still send me bills. Bills for anywhere between 1 cent and 1 dollar. Its stupid if you ask me.

dude man get optimum online if you can.

its sooo much better than verizon dsl.

way faster and much more reliable.

i think for cable tv and the high speed its like 60 a month.

well worth it.
