good luck. my brother is in boot camp right now going into the air force. but not what you think. he just got his degree for musical performance (thats right he plays the trumpet) anywho he won the audition and is starting out as an e6 i believe 44k a year starting and all these privelages and stuff because he plays for the president and shizznit. GOOD LUCK!!

Geez that sounds awesome...I also play the trumpet and have always been pretty damn good. They asked me if I wanted to do something like that. I just like to play....I hate practicing. Go figure



Oh and if he has a degree and is going in as an officer then I doubt he is an E-6. Not sure what he would be.

just talked to my mom who knows what it is..when hes done with boot he will be a staff seargant if thats what an e6 is?

Not sure of what the ranks of the air force is since the navy is not like the other branches. But a sergeant if I recall is a non-commisioned officer. So I guess you were right with the E-6

Should be 3-4 weeks tops. They list it for 6 days, then do a 2 or so week shat on applicants... We'll see! It's DISA, so I'm excited!
