Depends on how much zoom you want.



I built an 1641 with 041 heads, dual kadrons, an extraction set up and an engle K8 with roller rockers and it would spin the axels off a swing axel tranny.



1776 if done right is a very reliable motor.



Depends, VW's are not hard to rebuild allthough I will reccomened having a GOOD machinist work the block for you. They're fairly easy to bore wrong.
