a customer who lives an hour and a half away came to pick up his car from the service department, but the service writer didnt bother to bring the keys up to the top for a light night pick up. (the dept. closed at 7 and he got there at around 8 or so) now he was told that the keys would be up here and all of that good stuff. but they werent, so he had to make the 1.5 hour trip for nothing, and then spend another 1.5 hours coming back home. (he was semi-old and his wife was hot)

service department (where all the keys are) closes at 7. you cant get in there without the key, which none of the salesmen or sales managers had.

new management is needed. that is really shitty customer service, and I would want compensation for that.

Yeah someone should get fired for that ****. Our managers have have keys to every door in the whole building complex, plus, all the Building and staff supervisors have keys to every door as well.

We had a porter on our staff who was supposed to get a sold car to service for a battery change. Instead he just put the car on a charger. The customer drove away and called us the next morning because his car wouldn't start, funny **** is, he was 300 miles away from the city. The porter was fired as should the dick that failed in your situation Eric.

BTW, Kia makes very shitty batteries. About 15% of our new stocked Kia's need a battery replacement before they can be sold.

I would have called up the service manager at home and made his *** come in and give me my keys

or at the very least a loaner car so I would not have to inconvience someone to drive me back the next day
