I've been looking at used intercoolers for a while, and it seems likeused ones tend to be just a few hundred dollars less than a brand new one.

For instance would you pay 600 for a greddy FMIC when you could get a new one for 900. Given the condition of the used one, lets say a few minor bends, and missing a couple brackets that hold up radiator. Is it worth it or would you save up and wait. Or you could use the 300 for something else.

It seems like all used IC are just tad bit cheaper, and you really not sure what you are getting.

So would you go for couple hundred off or wait till you can purchase a new one

intercoolers have nothing mechanical that can break or wear out with use, just make sure its not leaking

i think its well worth it to fine a used one. if your going for a show car then you should buy new. i payed 500 dollars for my polished rx7fashion apexi core intercooler. It retailed at 1800 new for the polished one. it had a very easy to fix tiny pin hole in one of the welds. it costed 45 dollars for the radiator shot to fix it. it was well worth it and it drops intake temps like a ****.
