after watching this, im proud to own a rotary! i found this on supraforums and those guys couldnt believe how long the motor lasted......



if the guy had put the rad cap on, the motor would have lasted forever....

it's not that impressive, theres no significant load being put on the engine. If it were 9000rpm @ 150mph for 20 minutes then it would be quite impressive.

Yea i saw that dumbass video awhile ago. I wonder how long it would have lasted if redlined while driving and rad cap on..

what a waste of a perfectly good engine... i hope that guy isn't on this forum. What a waste... i can't believe it.

I must say that that vid was informative. Now I know what a blown motor sounds like. Good thing the flywheel didnt come off while they were doin that.

It was an already blown motor, cheers. It was only on 1 rotor, they say that at the start. But yeah, its an NA so it doesnt matter hehe
