how to buy a new car

A brand new model from a company that is doing pretty well is not the best model to get a killer deal on, they know you want it. They may offer you a good deal on a 6 because sales have slowed.
If you want a killer deal on a vehicle kinda like the 5, maybe head by a Pontiac dealer and check out a Vibe. I bet you may be able to drive a pretty hard bargain at a GM dealer these days.

dont seem super excited about it, mention how its a toss up between that car and another competitor car- a cheaper car.
Then just head for the door, the worse thing that happens is they dont call you and you go to another dealer, not like that dealer custom made the car and another wont sell one to you.

Yah, I've been in transactions that basically took half a day to complete. Don't be in a hurry. You'll just get pissed off.
I feel like we got a great deal on our MPV. I wanted an Odyssey, but they wouldn't budge on the price. Don't figure on getting a killer deal on the hot seller.

I am gonna keep my mouth shut on this situation. And you would think that they have room to move from MSRP to invoice, they really don't. Dealerships don't buy cars for 5 ******* grand.
Oh, and don't forget, don't think you are going to get a fully loaded car for LESS than the base model. You will get laughed at.
Shoot me a PM if you want Baldy.
