i never got bit torent to work right....always downloaded uber slow.

If your behind a firewall make sure you open a port per client instance. From 6881 to 6999 can be opened for it, or just open as many as you think you'll need, like from 6881 to 6886 for 5 simul downloads.



Also, I highly recomend Shadows bittorent client for settings and options.



After that, watch your bt speeds fly. Popular dl's will max out your bandwidth easy.

I've heard good things about bittorrent, but can't figure out how to get it to work.

i have shadows bittornado.



problem is all those torrents just came out so theres no seeds.

I'm not sure I'm familiar with the terms here.. 'Seed' is a fully d/l'd file that's being left open?
