how accurate are those quartermile measuring devices that you put in your car? can they actually take a good time on the car and how do they work?

so you can say it's fairly accurate in a world of perfectness? and how does it measure the 1/4 mile?

They're not bad assuming you have your vehicles exact weight.

Not the gross weight on the door sticker, but off an actual scale.

It works how radar does, it measures from a fixed horizion.

So it needs to be a straight road with good traction.
