Had to order a clock that had broken for one of our planes. UPS dropped the box off today and I quickly opened it in excitement. They didn't send a clock though, but rather a brand new hobbs meter! Turns out the clock just needed a battery replaced, who knew.

its a gauge that measures time elapsed in hours

we got a bunch of equipment with 2.5" hobbs meters on them

im sure his is some crazy kind ive never seen before however

Ours measure time in six minute intervals. .2 on the hobbs is equal to 12 minutes, 1.0 on the hobbs being 60 minutes. I think all of ours are oil pressure driven.
