not to hijack the thread or anything but are the mga valve stem seals really tiny o rings? if it wasn't fer them dang valves things...

I applaud your perseverance. I recall that long ago, when I was a college student driving an RX-2, that on one particular Friday I set out from Blacksburg, VA to Richmond to see a Grateful Dead concert with a friend and former student who lived in Richmond. I made it over halfway, but was besieged by an ignition problem which later turned out to be defective wiring to the primary side of the trailing coil. Fearing the worst, I limped back home, and missed a good show, a good buzz, and a fun weekend.

P.S.: Now of course, that I am a man of the world, and have in my life made various and sundry auto repairs, some thoroughly researched, and some impromptu, I can say that I made a hasty decision, and should have toughed it out!

I think I was being just plain stubborn. I admit, had it not been for the other rotorheads I would probably not have done the clutch. A big thanks is owed to Billy of RESPEED!!!
