I was wonderin how your blazer is doin.. How is the mileage? I have a chance to get a 1973 4x4 Chevy truck lifted with large tires, it has a 454 and is in good shape.. I know the owner and he takes good care of it..

Anyway, I was wondering how the gas mileage is but not really worried since I work like a mile away from home..



Oh yeah the other reason that makes the truck so tempting is that in California 1973 and before vehicles dont need to pass emissions..



Anyone else with experience with one of these trucks or a 454 have input?

 

 

mine is a 86 with 120k miles on it. runs like a top. mine has a 305 V8. if it has a 454 it should be just as reliable! depending on price i'd say get it!

 

OK, I can get it for $1000.00... I guess I just gotta get the Rest of the $$ then..

 

If I get it then I will just need to get and FD to be just like Vosko..

 

Does anyone know if they make a 1/24 or 1/25 scale model of a Blazerr like Vosko's or a truck of that style?

You can buy vosko's blazer, you just have to siphon the oil out the dipstick hole if you ever want to change the oil.
