Funny you say that, cause a couple of us were seriously considering buying a plane as a joint partnership. But even a dinky 152 starts getting pricey after insurance, a fresh motor and IRF ratings. Plus who the hell is going to fly from Oklahoma to too their family in North Carolina in a 152. It would be quicker driving!

lol, a while back I was up in a 152 with a real strong headwind and my groundspeed was only around 10 knots ; it doesn't take much wind to knock those little planes around. Most of the time I fly in a 172 and it isn't much better...

Yeah you can actually fly these stupid things backwards. Easy to do on a windy day doing slow flight in the dirty configuration.

Beautiful car. That is the one you beat me to. YOU BASTARD! Just kidding. Great pics too! I showed my 68 year old dad the pics with the FD and the minis, and he went nuts. He's british and owned 5 of them when he was living there forever ago.

The hood looks great on there. I'm not really one for vented hoods, but that one looks sharp. New radiator, and IC and a hood like that and I'll be good to go.

Hell yeah treceb, someday I'll have me a plane too. But not a 152, I want something I can take on long trips with the wifey.
