Has anyone dealt with any NSX owners?

For those who have read the entire thread on the i have a stick up my *** board, otherwise known as prime, can we see some more pics of the wheels and tires or have you sent them off?
On a side note. I think the cars look like a 12yr old designed them. There is no flow to the design IMO.

I havent met any North American Nsx owners, only Japanese Nsx owners, and they are seriously hardcore about their cars...
For lots of those guys, their first mod is an aftermarket gear set and a stroker motor with a 20 k price tag, they make us look pretty cheap when you consider we usually start with a fuel pump and an ignition box.

Maxt, Don't get me wrong, I'm sure USofA also has some hard core spenders. But $20K to stroke it and such to make 60HP more isn't what I call reasonable mod. And for NSX to be FI (to make 400+), you would have to build the engine and stock tranny to handle that kind of power (500-600 Flywheel HP). At least FDs, you spend 20k on mods or drop in an 20b, it will smoke anything on the road with only 50-75Lbs increase in weight.... Or LS1 into an FD for those who want so called "Reliability"
I don't think it makes us look cheap.. It makes us look smarter

Well, they are SSR comps. Just by looking at it, they look just like any SSR comps. Just no weights inside the inner part of the wheel.. and cupping of the tires.
NSX is slightly older design than FD. But I do like the look (only thing I like)... Just hate the idiots Ive met so far..

I contemplated buying an NSX a few years ago before doing the FD thing for the 3rd time
The one and only car I looked at was owned by a dude in his mid-30s who was a very chill mellow guy. He owned an FC also and we ended up just bsing about rx7s and rotarys.
I dunno, maybe i just ran into the only cool NSX owner on the planet

Except the well done motors add a little more than 60 hp, the examples I experienced were 365-380 rwhp n/a ,with the close ratio 6 speed its a nice machine to drive and they are no slouches... I was always suprised at the weight for that car though, considering what its designed to be and what its built from.. Btw, Amemiya drives an NSX...

i'd reply but everyone is writing really long posts in this topic.
but anywho, NSX's suck, the tires for those cars are corner specific...put the wrong tire on the wrong rim on the wrong corner of the car and you get accelerated wear, poor handling and all kinds of goodies.
kevin.

The poiint I was making isn't the fact the NSX can't be fast. Yes they can.. just as any car you put money into will... Just how moch you need to drop to make it go fast and handle better is the point I was making..
I'm also glad to see Ameniya driving one of those. I guess as a daily?? Because that's the only reason I was going to buy one.... as a daily
