This is a long story but I'll make it short...

Last weekend, me, SPOautos, and AbadR1 decided to drive down to FL to take a look at an 1994 Blk/Tan NSX with 166k miles. The owner and I were chatting thru emails about the condition and he said this about the paint, "I challenge you to find a single flaw in the paint".

So, we go down there and as I walk around the car, I see nothing but shitty paint jobs (he's been painting panel by panel) and sun damage on all the other panels. Every single panel on the car had some sort of problem with the paint.

But I decided that if the engine is good, I'll probably buy it. Which the seller told me over the phone, the car does not leak oil nor burn oil. He said, "The car's been well taken care off" and "My mechanic tells me engine is like new" since "oil is the same level 3 months later".

So, we lift the car and go under to see if there is any oil leaks... What a surprise.. OIL was everywhere!

I get out under the car and told the sell, "I'm going to be honest with you...". Before I could finish saying, he interrupts me and tells me, "I'm not lowering the price! I've already lowered it enought and I could sell this thing for my asking price". I was pissed! Him thinking that I was going to lower the price to buy this pieces of **** that I would probably spend another 5-10k to fix. I told him that he wasted my time and my friends time because he knew nothing about NSX.. or cars in general. I get home and search the emails and sent an email to the seller with all the things he described about the car and called him a lier and thanked him for wasting our time.. He replied, "Good luck to you, Phil – you’ll be driving a cheap compact the rest of your life." I just laughed and wrote this back to him, "Bob,

You are a total retard thinking what you drive is better than cars I own. First of all, both of my rx7s doesn't have $100 paint jobs nor worn out interiors like you have. And its one year older, handles better, and far faster and your NSX will ever be. Not only that, my "compact" doesn't leak oil and in its condition worth more than your NSX.. Both of them!

Once again, your lack of knowledge in the cars clearly shows thru your emails.. Please get off of your high horse and re-examine your world. I have no problem spending my money for something thats worth it. What I don't understand is someone who needs a truck but can't buy one until he sells his junk NSX is telling me I drive a cheap Compact. Don't forget, I didn't take out a loan and brought $22,500 from my checking.. You just make me laugh!

Also, your standard must be very low thinking what you have is so "great!"... I'm scare to meet your wife, seeing what your standards are

Good luck!"

To make my experience worse... Day before I bought a set of wheels for my "future" NSX in ATL. The seller told me that the wheels and tires were straight and balanced. I went to pick it up and because I was in a hurry, I didn't go thru in detail and just took the seller's word. When I got back and unloading, I noticed there were no weights inside of the inner rims. And it was like that with all four wheels and the tires were cupped just the inner side of the tires. So, I tell the seller and said, I would still like to keep it but since its not what you've told me, I would be happy if you would pay for balancing... He agreed and very next day, he said no because it was my fault and that the tires were balanced. I told him it was not and cupping clearily shows. He refused to respond afterwards..

So, I get on the NSX forum.. I made a seller to beware kind of thing and all the sudden, Every NSX morons are now getting on my case. They see that I own an RX7 and start acting like they know it all. don't get me wrong.. I'm not a pro racer or professional mechanic.. But I sure do know something about somethings. And I do know these tires were the cause of out of balanced wheels and tires... Anyhow, All these NSX ***** wouldn't not believe that the cause was because its out of balance. they insisted that it was my fault (I guess spending my money with fellow NSX owner??) and some even said I needed to appologize to the seller.. What a *******, know it all, retarded ******! Just gave me a bad taste about buy an NSX.. Never would I buy one of these..

i checked out the threads from the links on the club. What I thought was funny is on the homepage of Prime they talk about meeting up w/ the ferrari club. I mean come on its a honda. Thats like us saying lets meet up w/ the lambo club, get real. Every owner of a NSX i have met is a wanna be. Just buy another 7 and drop a 20b in it.

I've found most of them to be mid-life crisis sufferers who scoff at everything that's not an NSX.

LOL! I am working on a 20B swap.. Just been lazy going after it.

This is what I wrote the the club:

Well, this is my observation about NSX owners...

There are few NSX owners who drive their car daily... Just like 7 owners.

But the difference is that those NSX owners probably drive like grandma who lives in FL going 5 MPH below speed limit... Oh, and BONE STOCK!!!

And there are the NSX owners who own it because they look pretty. They drive 30,000 miles in 15 years and just praise about how great and reliable the car is... Quite funny if you ask me..

And the crazy, I have too much money, and I'm going to hire some shop to upgrade my NSX and no longer have NSX engine to make 600HP because other cars that cost less than 1/10 of the cost of my car could beat me types.. Those are the people who listen to their NSX shop guys and repeats it back on their forum... Act like they actually know.

And finally.. the complete morons who own an NSX and act like they are now an upper class because they think they own an exotic...

The laters are the ones who knows nothing about cars and have big ego thinking they know..

Funny thing is, they arent that great of a car?? Sure it has the exotic tag on it, but it doesn't handle better than an FD nor faster than an FD. Modifications to the engine is limited and suspension.. Its a joke when you can only put 245mm wide tires on the front.. unless wide body.. RX7 could go 285-295mm without widebody in the front.

Anything that happens to the engine, you would have to drop the engine.. when most people on here say drop, that usually means figuratively. But for NSX owners, it literally means dropping the engine from the bottom. Which means, you need a LIFT!!

I went on their forum and I got BITCH Slapped because I knew too much But they think I know nothing.. LOL! Bunch of ignorant ****** over there..

Amen! They do attract females... at least the seller of the car in FL pointed that out to me. His words were,

"Even though cars 12 years old,.... I still get teenage girls asking me if I could give them a ride". Seller was later 40s early 50s..
