I own a single pistol, a Taurus PT-145, for personal defense, it isn't really usable for much else. Am going to be picking up a small 12 Ga. for my apartment in a while.

after reading about some of the stories about getting the concealed carry permit, I am glad I live in FL, not nearly as many hoops, I just sent a copy of my DD214, photo, fingerprint card, and small questionaire, and they mailed me back my permit. no muss, no fuss
