I treated myself to a new spray gun today, I have 3 primer guns, and 2 smaller touch up guns, and a DeVilbiss GTi milenium gun that is my top of the line gun, but I needed a gun that would run off a portable compressor.



The GTi gun while it is a HVLP gun, I think people mistaken HVLP and think

they dont require alot of pressure. They use a tremendous amount of CFM to spray with. I have had several times where a portable compressor, and even the one we have at work if 2 people are using air as well, wont run my gun and the pressure drops.



I figured I would let you guys know in case you are shopping for a spray gun, its the new DeVilbiss GFG-670, or Plus gun, its going to make HVLP useless, it uses only 9 cfm versus 16 that my GTi uses. It has gotten approval in all the strict areas of the country and is almost 75% efficient. I look forward to using it and trying it out on the road later this month when I spray that side job I got.
