Gt4 Is Pissing Me Off

You'll notice that when you buy suspensions, that it's not just a bolt-on and go upgrade. It really makes you learn and know how to set it up properly.
I also purchased the FC GT-X and upgraded it pretty heavily, but it still seems very loose and definitely is not on rails! I have yet to adjust the suspension on it, so I know that will help.
That being said, if you compare something of that nature to a car that has been "tuned" by one of the aftermarket companies, you'll notice that they handle MUCH MUCH better. For instance, the BP FALKEN DRIFT FC handles VERY well...and has less mods than my GT-X. So I definitely think its because of suspension setup and quite possibly the rigidity plan (older cars have more flex).

I got my copy yesterday afternoon and tried it out with my wireless wheel last night. It seems like I could control the car with the control pad, but when I tried to use the wheel it totally sucked *****. I'm gonna go back and exchange the crappy wireless wheel for a logitech one after work.
YES! Get the Logitech Driving Force Pro. It does honestly make a HUGE difference, because it was specifically built for GT4.
Makes the game a lot more fun than just with a DS2 controller.
It is well worth the money...If you buy it at Best Buy, and also buy GT4 from them, they'll give you a $20 gift card.
And if you go to Logitech's website, Look for the DFP wheel, and you'll find another $20 mail in rebate if you bought the game and wheel.
So it's pretty much buy the wheel, get GT4 for 10 bucks!

Werd. Too bad I got it at Gamestop! Oh well, the game was pre-paid/reserved by my sister for a birthday present! So, pretty much, buy a wheel for $129 and get GT4 free!
Even Better!

If by better you mean "Easier" and "Less Realistic", then I agree with you.
The hits hurt more, your car doesn't just slam and stay as straight as a brick when you hit anything, and now the suspension is more lifelike.
It makes it more of a challenge.

The experience without the wheel is drab. I couldn't play it more than 2-3 minutes before I jumped back behind the wheel. Plus, I can't do MT worth a **** with a controller, but with the wheel, it feels perfectly natural. (The first time I did it, I actually moved my left foot for a clutch, lol.)
