I'm getting frustrated, too. Driving in this game just feels akward and clunky (I'm using a controller). Also, the I'm not getting a very good sense of speed, which makes it hard for me to judge the corners.

Hmm, I haven't even played an hour today and the gameplay is wonderfull. My Spirit R is on rails and has plenty of power to outrun a 300C.

that's what happens when you don't have a job or life or kids :P I've played for 2 hours, have a 1990 Mazda RX-7 GT-X (FC,J) and have 245hp and sport suspension, lightest flywheel, clutch, s3 tires, first weight reduction, chip, racing exhaust...I guess I'm gonna spring for the wheel and see how it does...

well the wheel is much better then the controller but the most important thing is how you set up your suspension. I'm drifting ok but It will take time, you could always use b-spec.

Yeah, actually I've been using B-Spec and it's a lot of fun! Also, it makes my thumb hurt less, so it gets bonus points. Oh yeah, and I can let it run when I use the restroom or am doing other stuff, so it's pretty cool. I wonder what would happen if I left my B Spec driver practicing overnight... he'd be really good, I think.

Yeah, I got gt4 yesterday, and managed to play about 5 mins. worth. Well, enough to import GT3 data and pass 2 driver tests.

Hey, I was going to start a topic with the same subject! :P

Except my problem is that damn first lisence. I can easily get bronze/silver in most of them, however, if you notice my Avatar, I want GOLD in all the trials.

On the first lisence, there's a challenge with a sloth (Why 94hp?) new Mini Cooper following a pace car on Tsukuba Circuit. The car is so SLOW it takes forever to accomplish a turn and leaves a LOT of room for error.

WhenEVER I am missing Gold its only by .023 (almost never .1 or more!) and it takes way too many re-tries to get it. Ugh.

I wasted 1 hour of my life last night on that specific test/challenge!

I got my copy yesterday afternoon and tried it out with my wireless wheel last night. It seems like I could control the car with the control pad, but when I tried to use the wheel it totally sucked *****. I'm gonna go back and exchange the crappy wireless wheel for a logitech one after work.
