I think that Dramon is slowly spiraling towards Down's Syndrome. That, or his mom's been donkey punchin him too hard lately. Either way, his crap gets stupider by the day.

A turbo timer is supposed to let the engine run long enough for the turbo to COOL DOWN. Not just spin down. After running hard, your turbo gets VERY HOT (go figure) and will cause the oil that is no longer circulating to bake, and turn into something black and nasty which will restrict oil flow to the turbo over time.

If you drive your turbocharged car hard, you should ease up before you get where you're going, so the turbo can take advantage of the circulating oil (and coolant) to get back to "normal" temperature. A 20-second delay on a turbo timer is better than nothing, but not near enough if you've been ******* it hard.

I know that some newer turbo cars (ie Audi 2.7T) have a secondary electric water pump that will circulate coolant to the turbo after the engine is shut down.

And I happen to know for a fact that the song the Greddy turbo timer plays is "What's New *****cat?" by Tom Jones. And yes, dammit, I am serious!

Mine just does a short jingle as it starts up....? Is that what we're referring to?

I remember getting it inspected, the guy pulled it up into the shop, comes out into the waiting room and asks me "Hey how do you turn this car off?" lol. He had the keys in his hand and a "WTF" face on.

He loved my car though, lol, treated it like gold being careful where he put his hands and whatnot, he just stared at it the whole time talking to me.. "I have never seen one of these in person. This is the most beautiful thing ever. Wow."

He watched me leave too, so I gave him something to look at (WITH MY CAR you homo's)
