Opel Speedster, lightweight, mid 300's hp, ive spent literally hours tuning the transmission and suspension to just the way I want it to handle. doesnt do much above 170, but it'll hold a ton of speed thru the corners.

the car i was using a lot before this one was the elise 180, and that thing was nice until the 22b. i looked at the speedster and it didnt look too promising. in one of the championships the opel is the major competitor, and it was holding with the 22b. i was surprised and decided that you must be able to use a larger turbo on it than the elise, i bought one and checked out the mods and the results didnt seem so great so i loaded my saved game. have you used the elise much? is the opel a whole lot better than it?

i havent come across anything faster yet, i have the camaro race car and i know the 22b is faster than that. not that the camaro is all that fast compared to some of the other lm cars, and nothing comared to the formulas.

another benefit with the 22b is that you can use it in almost all of the races, including all of the rally

Yea, the game was made before the Opel Speedster Turbo came out, thus all the engine mods are N/A, but whereas you can only get the elise to high 200's HP wise (298 maybe?), the speedster's at 365 (if i remember right, GTA San Andreas is in the PS2 right now), and after lightening they both slim down to about the same weight, its just the opel has a .4 liter advantage over the elise. When stock, the opel doesnt make a whole lot of power, like 40hp less than the elise, so it initially seems slower, but after the upgrades its faster. The handling of both is like identical, same chassis, about the same weight, wheelbase (the opel's is a little longer if i remember right), and engine placement. Fully upgraded, I ripped a stock C5R to pieces.

I usually play it when friends are over so the first thing I did (much easier to do lol) was get everything you can in ARCADE mode...

...that being said...since I haven't bought every car yet and fixed them up, I like the 787B, rotary powered sweetness that handles wonderfully.

I haven't had the vigor yet (and i"ve had this game forever) to do all the stupid races I don't want to do (like a Vitz cup or 99 lap endurance race, wth!)...

The Zonda, I've tuned it to perfection, and it's just breathtaking.
