LOL yea the cheap ones you see on ebay are pretty rickety, if you look at the Dahon's they have massive tubing and the locks have a safety so they won't fold unless you really mean it.

Those are called recumbent. Funny word fits funny bike. Comfortable & expensive.
the only issue with those is it's impossible not to look like a complete douchebag while riding one.
