Oh my place is on the market this weekend, this is horseshit. They have notified me of no meetings, all of a sudden I get this thing in the mail, they have officers and **** and they are levying fines. I only have one parking spot and I get a $75.00 fine every day when i park my second car anywhere else. My garage door opener may no longer be used... at all, can't have my sattelite dish, can't come home after 10PM and they can bite my mother ******* sack!

Concerned about the new rules being passed at Cameray?



It's time to organize and make some changes our re-sell ability is rapidly dwindling from rules and regulations passed at meetings held early in the day while we are at work, working to pay our already rising association dues.



These new rules will cost us more of our hard earned money one way or the other whether it's the decreased value from the inability to sell our investment or in fines levied on us for flushing our toilets after 10PM and parking our vehicles in one of the MANY available parking spaces. There have been no rules set in place to keep owners from being harassed and constantly paying fines or arguing their case in front of a bias board that will indoubtibly hold your “hearing” in the middle of the afternoon. The rules are vague and there is no fair way to enforce them, they are merely a method for the minority to harass the majority.



There are many of us that are very concerned about this situation, it's time to get involved before it goes any further. If these new rules concern you, you ARE NOT the minority, many of us are very concerned about the future of the community.

I emailed the guy and when I called him he asked me if I had some sort of english degree, I asked him what he was talking about and he said "your letter was very professionally written" which is bullshit cause I just slapped together some sloppy email interwoven with pleasent insults and stinging kicks to the groinal area.

It's all horseshit, the rules are so the minority, weak and underprivilaged can rule the majority. They don't want you having friends over at 10 because to their complete lack of social skills they will never have any. Furthermore it's hard for the lady upstairs to diddle herself and watch lesbian porn if my car is running at 10:30 in the evening because I have to go to the store and get food to feed myself.



Personally I think they are all BS, you live in a multiple family dwelling you are going to hear your neighbor, sometimes they will come home late, sometimes they will slam their door, deal with it. Whatever happened to the good old days when if someone was an ******* neighbor you fucked his old lady while he was getting the food stamps? (j/k)

just hope you didnt sign anything when you got the place that gave them these powers. my buddy has a townhouse that has an association and he has to deal with all sorts of bullshit, but when he bought the place he signed his soul over to them as long as he keeps the place.



it's horse ****, but you didnt have to move in or sign anything that let them do it? which depends if you did or not, but I believe condo's have similar associations as townhomes, it probably is a really shitty setup that will screw you in the end.

phins I've got a town house and a asso also...they keep uping the dues when I moved in it was 90..that was 2001 now its 115 per month... and they have all kinds of strange rules too but no curfue crap...like if you dont clean your parking space you will get fined if you dont clean it up... and ****...or a good one I'm army guard and most likely will get deployed soon..how the **** am I gonna pay the dues if I'm not around and they don't have a direct withdraw option??? and how am I gonna clean my spaces when I'm gone or trim my tree? perhaps try selling it yourself? Alot of people will be glad to bypass a realtor, if there are 2 other places for sale in your development yours might sell faster if they can get around the real estate fee, not that they will pay, but you can maybe discount yours a little bit less then the others because you wont be giving them the 6% or whatever it is.

There are a number of realty shops that will list your home for 1%. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. All they will do is put your condo in MLS and stick a sign in the front yard. Don't expect them to advertise, market, or help too much with contract negotiations if they are only getting 1%.

I put my sign up on the mailboxes and have already gotten a couple emails supporting my efforts, I may get a few people to proxy me their votes and wipe the board out, have them re-elected. I am hoping that if I present my case and explain to them the many pissed off people they will just say **** you if you don't like it you do it, but we'll see. Going to list it anyhow, I don't want to be one of the last to abandon ship. two people have already listed since Tuesday.

Well they tore down my last sign so I had to get a little nastier. Here is my latest sign:



It is apparent, due to the removal of the previous post that the current board members have no intentions of hearing the concerns of those that oppose the recent rules and the board’s actions.



There are many of us that have already joined together, let me outline our intentions. Although we would have liked to work with the current board to correct the unreasonable rules it is obvious this is not possible. We feel the only option is to remove ALL of the current board appointees. This can be done by a 2/3rds vote of at least 25% of the voting members present. Per CCR 10.2.4. To vote you must have your dues paid and up to date. We intend to remove the current board members at the next meeting, April 28, 2003 at 4:30PM. If you cannot make it, or would like to be kept in the loop as to the progress of our efforts please contact us at: camerayconcerns@yahoo.com it is likely this post will not stay up long because the minority does not want the majority’s voice to be heard. I fully understand that most people are unable to make the early meetings, but we will voice your concerns if you cannot attend.



The new rules put EVERYONE in the complex in violation. If you are picked to be one of the owners harassed you will be fined from $75 to $1,000 for your infractions. There is no way to fairly enforce these fines. These rules will drain our property values and prohibit a timely resell, no one wants to buy a condo in a neighborhood where they cannot park their car, use a garage door opener, roller blade to the mailbox or converse with their neighbor in front of their dwelling.



Although this seems drastic, we have no choice, we have to remove the current board members and elect new individuals with a little common sense. These new rules will force our already high dues even higher with the court costs and lawyer fees associated with taking our fellow neighbors to court.
