2 types of corvettes here, the stock ones with added vette logos and custom plates, and the crazy 1000+hp ones with custom plates.

either way your fucked if you have a basically stock vette, you dont fit in with anyone. At cars and coffee there are probably 40% corvettes!

And I read that they closed the plant that made the Sky/Solstice back in July. So they've already ceased production.
I concur, I'll lay on the sarcasm thicker next time.

I just saw a new SHO on the highway. I'd take one, I bet it's a tank of E85 and an ECU chip away from being an AWD, 500hp cruiser

Oh yea it says "I'm too ashamed to admit I'm going through a mid life crisis and I can't afford a sports car" all in one.

Or "Our company only provides domestic company vehicles and a Cadillac would tell our customers we charge too much". something like that

The car the big 3 can't seem to build, decent looks, turbo engine >3.0 litre, rear wheel drive 4 seater, 2800 lbs, 6 speed, IRS, <300 hp stock with enough strength to handle 550,crackable ecu and >35,000.00 canadian. No siily sunroof,or dvd options, no leather, basically a modern day Plymouth Road runner.

Every car they come out with to compete with the asian favourite tuner cars are lame FWD and butt ugly, or its so portley and overweight , it really needs a zillion horsepower to make it fast in a straight line and would get killed on a road course.

Does the Challenger need to be 4000 lbs? , the charger 4200 lbs? The camaro 3900 lbs? And the versions of these cars with the "real motors" all end up well over 50,000.00 in Canada.

The new Hyundai coupe is where the big 3 need to be, I mean really Hyundai has better North American consumer vision than the big 3..

V6 Mustang is supposed to be 320hp next year, can't see them trying to raise the price much because they sell so many V6 Mustangs it would be bad for sales.

I'll pass i'm glad to be rid of the stang. Poorly built, road noise was HORRIBLE, all the plastic crap, vents, center console were coming apart at 30,000 miles, t5 transmission = FAIL, rust on the hood under the paint... hmmm what else.
